On the road again, heading home. We left Portland in the early morning and rode to Hamilton, then Dunkeld and then Ballarat. Little wind and good riding. We even got to meet Ian's mother in his family home. Ballarat was also where ian's dad was the library manager for many years. The respect the library staff had for ian and his parents was enlightening and why many of us chose this profession. Ballarat had some nice beers, good food and nice roads.
