SATURDAY 24 NOVEMBER
After riding from Gosford I met up with Leon at Campbelltown, together we took the back roads through the Southern Highlands to Canberra. Here we met up with Alan Arnold, Helen and Richard  and  Ian and Sherri.. We travelled to Gundagai and then Albury where we werehosted at the Albury Library where we were joined by Pam and Brian. It was like putting the band together. Dinner was at the Commercial Club.

SUNDAY 25 NOVEMBER

This was a leisurely day with morning tea at Benalla, lunch at Daylesford and dinner at Ballarat. We all got separated trying to find the quickest way to our destination. I took Alan Arnold on a 30 k detour towards Melbourne and had to ride a strong wind back to Ballarat.

MONDAY 26 NOVEMBER

We woke to rain and wind. This was supposed to be the best day but became the worst with rain until midday and winds so strong that at 100km per hour and we were standing still.

Daylesford where a roller derby librarian held sway; Meredith which does not have a library, sorry Al for taking you on a magic mystery tour through fog and rain to a library that did not exist; Waurn Ponds a great library, welcoming staff and Francis and old friend; The winds of the great ocean road and Apollo Bay, a small but practical library and then on to Port Campbell. No we did not see the Twelve Apostles, this is not a sight seeing tour, we just ride very fast and keep our eyes on the road. Pity I believe there was some fantastic scenery on the way.
There wasn't space to park it out front of Albury library
